Speedie Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 You should just see if someone will trade. Surely someone on here would like some purple fullbores. Or just sell them and buy Duner440's plastic, if he still has them. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=60324&hl= I think these would look pretty good with all that chrome. Quote
sweetquads Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 I dont know if those would work. I have the radiator with the cap up high. The plastic i have now has a hole for the cap? Anybody know how those would fit on mine, if they would fit? Quote
Speedie Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 It should work. The Fullbores have the hole for the cap. I would think that even if your radiator wasn't stock. They would at least still fit under stock plastic. Quote
[email protected] Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 yeah they will work , you will have to remove yuor plastics to fill your radiator up , thats it .... Quote
Chemical Castration Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 the only thing that comes to mind after reading all this isall of the people riding around in glamis with badass drag bikes that make my legs twitch when i see em. but they cant ride em for shit, you can tell they just bought the nicest banshee they could find on ebay. it pissed me off to no end to see a methanol burning banshee get stuck up a 40 foot dune, and see the asshole on a ds 650 that's riding with him help him out. i hope you dont take what loco and everybody said as an insult, theyre giving you good advice. because believe it or not all those shiny looking 'doodads' and 'whatcha call its' have a purpose. the reason why everybody is making the comments theyre making is because you're a newbie and you just went out and bought a bad ass machine, and if you dont know what's in there or how to take care of it or how to diagnose a problem everything in there can just get ruined as fast as this bike can take you up a dune. we look out for eachother here and it'd be a shame to see anything in that beautiful bike get ruined. instead of worrying about what color you want your plastics or your seat should be, you should research and find out what exactly you have. that way if you ever have a problem in the middle of the dunes you should be able to fix it without ruining any precious riding time. congratulations on the buy and goodluck with everything its a badass bike fo sho! I dont know if you realize it or not but im not exactly a newbie. I do own a ATV performance store,so i do know what most doodads, er i mean "Performace modifications" are and do, although we dont do a whole lot of banshee stuff anymore with all the new 4 strokes out there. I do know how to ride, and while some of the parts on this banshee are new to me like the over-ride tranny i think i can handle it. As for the doodad thing, i have already explained that. Enough about doodads! If we ever race ill explain the rest when you catch up Quote
Chemical Castration Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 you obviously have reading comprehension problems so i'll help you out over-ride tranny (Whatever that is) +12" Swing Arm and all kinds of doodads that i have no idea what they are. I dont know if those would work. I have the radiator with the cap up high. The plastic i have now has a hole for the cap? Anybody know how those would fit on mine, if they would fit? although we dont do a whole lot of banshee stuff that means you're a newbie. i dont give a shit what you call the parts on your bike. if you dont know what they are or what they do, you're a newbie! all i said was to find out what all those little "doodads" or "performance modifications" or whatever stupid ass name you wanna call them are and learn what they do. because you OBVIOUSLY dont have any experience with drag banshees. and you're right that bike is a lot faster than mine. but hey i built my shit. sure with the money i've spent i couldve gone out and bought something that's a lot faster than what i have but i chose to build my own shit and learn what everything does. but hey i'll extend the olive branch and apologize for misunderstanding you. i'm sorry for totally misunderstanding your awesome riding skills and endless knowledge that you've aquired from your mighty YFZ and bikes with NAWZ! DIRTMAN350 Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Nice bike man. I wish i could have started out with a shee like that. Quote
MYquadsFaster Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 that thing is f***ing sick my first quad i ever had was my banshee, and when i bought it the guys really didnt recommend it, and tryed to talk me out of it cause he thought i was going to kill myself. but i mean there really not that difficult to learn about especially with sites like the HQ sounds like your not an idiot so im sure you will be fine ...it is a banshee so dont plan on never having to work on it.....i bought mine and blew the right cylinder after 6 months than completely rebuilt it with no prior experience using only a clymers manual. good luck great bike Quote
