DIRTMAN350 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Uplug the little black box up under the left side of the fuel tank. The tors will not keep it from starting. It will limit your throttle. Change the plugs and keep us updated. Quote
r/atvshee Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 it could be a bad ground....maybe a jet popped out Quote
ANGUS Posted May 8, 2006 Author Report Posted May 8, 2006 it could be a bad ground....maybe a jet popped out 513145[/snapback] That is one thing I do not know about is the carb stuff. I am still learning on this. I do know old and new school muscle cars. I am still trying to learn the atv stuff. Dirtman350 - I will get some new plugs tomorrow and unplug the black box and see what shee does.. Quote
ANGUS Posted May 10, 2006 Author Report Posted May 10, 2006 Still haven't got plugs yest. Maybe Wednesday. TTT Quote
ANGUS Posted May 12, 2006 Author Report Posted May 12, 2006 (edited) Ok, just put in new plus and she will not start. I still have to unplug the t.o.r.s. black box to even get spark. I get fuel to each carb. (pulled hoses off to see) So, what the HECK is keeping it from starting? Carb issues maybe? Something stuck? I see 79 people viewed and only 2 comments posted. I know that many people are not as new as I am to Banshee's...... C'mon guys! I'll run by the local shop to talk with them and maybe get some answers. Edited May 12, 2006 by ANGUS Quote
batoutofshell Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 check the orange and black wires connected to your coil pack take them off clean them good then unscrew your plug caps off the wires and cut back 1/4 inch or so screw them back on try it let us know!! Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Pull both carbs, one at a time, and clean them. It's possible that you got some water in them. Water will stick to the inside of the passages, and the inside of the carb, jets, etc. Water can and will block off the jets, not allowing any fuel to pass through. Just a thought. Quote
