i have done my back wheels and was going to do the fronts but the front will end up wider than the back end. is this ok?

I hear its not a good idea. It'll throw off your susp geom. and it leaves your brake calipers exposed to rocks and stuff.

that's what i thought but so many people on here do it.

I turned my front wheel around and have not had any problems yet. I ride alot of trails where it will take the most abuse and it has been fine four about 2yrs now.

I did it as well, but it makes it a pain in the ass to get at the valve stem, I also found at full steer the wheels will plow, I lost some skin because of this!

It worked well otherwise.

don't the stems hit the calipers?

 

I thought you had to drill holes for new stems to be placed on the new outside, and turn the old stems inside out??

Exactly...however, they make a low profile stem if you don't want to drill. Ebay has 'em. Then...you have to take the wheel off to add air. Kind of a waste if you ask me.

 

When you turn lock to lock, the inside wheel can damn near rip itself off...so, be careful.

That being said...I love mine and it compliments my +4 durablue out back.
