"You have been banned from this forum. Please contact the webmaster or board administrator for more information." the real bitch is, I'm one of the the damn ADMIN!!! Do you have any idea what you did? 508531[/snapback] no idea what happend. the place has been dead since last fall. thats why I been hanging around here so much the last few months. ain't been anyone to Mod/Admin, just the ban of the damn spammers registering bogus accounts w/ websites listed for Porno, poker and search engine sites. The original owner had some big legal problems I was told and sold the shop to his old partner. he got the webmaster to make a couple of the more regular trustworthy guys admin to keep an eye on the place since wasen't around(even kept the place PG rated for him, got bend over a "Chicks on quads" thread cause one guy got a little out of hand w/ it). one guy volunteered and I got volunteered. since I was always on and seemed to be running the place anyway(didn't hurt to have nearly 2500 posts over the course of like 6 months.). the other guy bowed out for the most place last fall( new job and new baby on the way, no time to stop in much) and I been running the show since. but like I said the joint has been like a tomb for months. and the few regulars that pop in and I have kept the place a float but w/ the new owner not communicating w/ us as to his intentions as to weither or not he is keeping the board up and if he's wants to bring the place back to life.( was a pretty hopping place for a small forum, nothing like here though). and tonight I get "You're Banned". I can honestly I'm a bit pissed since I pretty much built the place back up after it was over hauled to a totally new fresh forum last april( was supposed to just be an upgrade, but the old webmaster skipped out and never left the passwords for the old server, so the new Webby could retrive the old data. so 4 yrs of stuff was lost.) and I been keeping the place going for the last 7 or 8 months, when I didn't want to be an admin in the first place. but no one wanted to do it. pipebomb Posted April 28, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2006 (edited) can yo u name the site ? 508800[/snapback] it's in my Sig ATV Addiction. the new name of the new store is Precision Racing. out of Orrstown, PA( i think that's still the address.) got a reply from the new owner "because you were doing neg things and your also on the competitons board posting neg things and saying go to xc bob's site and i'm the new owner so i banned you also they banned me off thier sites for advertising so i'm doing the same to anyone you advertises on my site" I pretty much told him that he has no idea what he's talking about and to prove it.if not, reactivate my account and agologize or remove all my posts. basically the guy is pissed cause I'm friends w/ the guy who owns XCbob.com(and a Mod on the board), cause Mike(aka XCbob, sells used parts on eBay, got a bunch of good deals from the guy) and the guy don't like each other(never have). He's gonna be real pissed when no new members post. Little does he know the activation link for new members to sign up don't work since the server upgrade in Sept. Keeps sending them to the old server to actvate the account. That server isn't there anymore(phyically there's a hole where it was mounted.) I've been manually turning them on for people. Oh, their in charge all right. 508947[/snapback] and usually their the one that comes running to you when they have an "Emergency" I get those alot too. got a boss like that. when he's in a bind, he freaks and hollers "I need your help, it's an emergency." that's when one of us(there were 4 us us standing there at the moment) pipes up" Poor planning on your part, don't automatically make it and emergency on ours." best part was his boss was standing around the corner where the guy couldn't see him and is laughing coase we were just talking to him and said it would happen. As for the penis wrinkle at addiction. Fuck'em. even a few of the other members are up in arms yelling about it.asking what the hell was he thinking. Besides I got better places to be. a couple of the other places I visit are ready to put my ass to work writing "how-to"s and builting a tech sections for them.
