Also, you can buy a couple of K&N "prechargers" to slip over your clamp on fiters; they keep globs of mud from getting on your actual filter, and they add NO restriction whatsoever. They are almost like a really fine netting. They are kinda pricey though (about $20 a peice, so it will run $40) Just take out the stock airbox completely. You will have to buy a bracket from www.rockeymountainatv.com for $15 though, which will hold your reserve antifreeze tank (which normally would mount to your airbox). Don't worry though, its a really simple install. We are talking 2 bolts, and you use the same bolts that are already on it Good luck. Thank me later. It will have alot more power after doing this, trust me. Quote
cdwood37 Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 He is right about the k&n pods wouldn't trade them for any other kind, but to save money you could cut the back of the airbox off where the coolant bottle mounts and just use it like that or what he said and buy the mount. Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 (edited) K&n pods for sure just stay away from water. Edited April 26, 2006 by bansheeseat$$ Quote

batoutofshell Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 your gonna have to rejet up 310-320 27.5 on the pilots Quote
ogre03 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Listen to what he ^ said. I'd buy 300's through 330's for mains (they're cheap) and 27.5 piolots. Start with the 330's and work your way down till ir revs clean. I wouldn't bother with a 30 pilot. The 27.5 should do ya, hell with only pipes and filters you may be able to adjust your air screw with the 25's and be fine. It's all trial and error. Quote
