There were tiny pin holes in the welds. Call up your pipe manufacture and see if they will fix them. Quote

Blue Duece Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 this is why they invented gaskets at the exaust manifold Quote
DIRTMAN350 Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 See if your o-rings for the head pipes to head is damaged. If they are just replace the o-rings with new ones from your pipe mfg. Quote
pipebomb Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 my '01 did the spitting oil thing out of the head at the pipe last year. the stock springs were worn and left um move around a bit. put new O-rings and new srrings on and all fixed. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 this is why they invented gaskets at the exaust manifold 507234[/snapback] LOL, that would be the first thing I'd check before forking out money for new pipes. I'd be willing to bet if your pipes are old like you say they are...they're due for new o-rings. Quote
NYUK Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 new o rings, and i used to double up the pipe springs, to hold the headpipe up tight to the exhaust flange. Quote
