The demand was lower due to the rising prices. It also said that if we all used 3 percent less for 30 days the prices would crash. 3 percent doesn't seem like very much, so how about it. 3 percent, for me it's having my girlfriend car pool with me one day. So spread the word and lets all give it a try. If it doesn't work at least we still save some on our gas bill the next 30 days. Hey, and if works. How about drinking 3 percent less beer? Wait nevermind. Lets just try the gas thing. Quote

DieselTech Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Well,there's nothing wrong with trying to cut back on gas consumption....or any type of natural-resource-consumption, for that matter. I don't complain about the gas prices, because I've lived overseas and I know that our gas prices aren't that bad in comparison to many other places on this planet. Gasoline, as well as diesel, is currently undergoing some major changes here in the US. The refining of crude oil into fuels/oils is changing in a major way, especially diesel (ultra-low-sulfer), and this will of course increase the cost to the consumer. We, as Americans, are lucky to enjoy the freedoms that we do - other people in the world wish they could be as lucky as we are! We take alot for granted, and as a nation, complain about alot of things that we take for granted. It's true though - the American public has proven in the past that we are not willing to change our consumption habits just because of sky-high prices.......... Quote
Bansheeman1121 Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 OMG so ironic i just read this, i just sounded like the tourettes guys here just kept sayin fuck becuase i just put another 10 into my car which got my 2.9 gallons, i drive a acura integra which gets bout 20 mpg and gas is draning me, i say we bust out our arsenals and sieze the alska oil reserves, i always wanted to test my sks in combat that huge knife thing on the fronts gotta serve some kinda purpose?? Anyway im gonna figure out someway to savemyself some cash on gas becuase i cant do this anymore, lets do somthing guys Quote
