kawiking Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 im running hmf pipes,k&n pods and shaved head(.030). what kind of timing should i use???? fly wheel lightend if important??? Quote
lowriderb Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 you should be able to run either without an issue, they are pretty much the same.. if youve got a timing plate why not set it to 4.5..lol be sure that your running premium fuel at the least.. and depending on the compression (if you go higher later) you may have to mix it.. gipperz Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 I would do a compression check and go from there. Most people run +4. Good luck to you. Quote
DIRTMAN350 Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 just installed mine and set it at +4. Feels like it has some torque than before. alot funner to ride. Quote
BKOLFO4 Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 I just finished installing mine. My friend milled the factory plate and slot the holes (cost me $0!) so I could get 4 degree advanced. Now, if I ever get to ride it!!! Cylinders are at RB Racing getting bored and ported right now. . . Brian Quote
