anyone have a prm skid plate? any good/not good? should i buy a prm skid or a differnet model? thanks

PRM makes top of the line stuff. I've got their skid and front bumper. Some of the best quality work out there. Welds are textbook! I plan on getting one of their grab bars as well.

what thickness is the best one to get. .125 or .190? i wasnt sure if the.190 is too thick or not?

sorta depends on where you ride - if it's not so rough you're prob good with .125. I got the .190 chassis and .250 swingarm on mine and they are awesome. I beat the hell out of them, they're pretty scraped up but welds are still good and they're not bent to shit. I'd get 'em again.

prm is the only skids i run on any of my bikes!! i have a .125 belly skid on my shee and a.250 swingarm skid w/ the linkage guard. imo nothing will take more of a beating than the prm skids!

i do GNCC racing and PRM make some of the toughest shit around,, another good compnay is Pro armour, they make some tough shit too

I was just checking out PRO-TECT. they make SS plates. Hard as Hard gets. My buddy wants one on his 465ex.

 

145 for it. not bad...specially if it lasts.

 

According to their site, they are the ONLY producer of SS plates. GO pro-tect.

If you buy one and put them thru abuse they will take it. I would not buy anything else.
