broke Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Good luck with the 3s. I have the 2s in both my quads and they have been flawless. One set has 3 years of riding on them and they still look brand new, the other set has ? on them and look great also. I have run stock, ported stock, Boysens, Carbon Tech and Pyramids, and the V-force have been the best so far. I could never jet out a strange bog just before the powerband with the Pyramids , but they were the only ones with the crisp throttle response of the V-force. My bike is more of a trail bike, so I couldn't tell you which has the best top end. Quote
Geoff Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 Is it possible to still get teh 2's. I was told when I go to get some to get the 2's over the 3's. I know some people prefer the 2's but I'm new to this game so I'm not sure why. Quote
broke Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 I think you still can. I actually have aset for sale. I don't think there is much to gain from the 3s, so the cheaper price of the 2s may be why some say to go with them. Quote
MILO Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 i just put in my v3's and fired her up for the first time today. much tighter throttle response and shee rips again. of course this was along with a fresh top end also, so who knows, but i'm not complaining. Quote
