Hollister_Hitman Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 (edited) My banshee was rolled and I see some obvious problems (see picture) but what else should I be looking for? Edited April 10, 2006 by Hollister_Hitman Quote
CRASHTH Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 MINE LOOKS JUST LIKE THAT ,ITS JUST BENT ON THE OTHER SIDE. YOU PLACE A GOOD QUESTION .WHAT ELSE SHOULD BE LOOKED FOR AND CAN THAT BE REPAIRED? Quote
Hilarious Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 Looks to me, that you need 3 things. 1. frame 2. soap 3. water Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted April 10, 2006 Author Report Posted April 10, 2006 The soap and water aren't a problem. As far as the frame goes I hope it doesn't affect my handling. I've only noticed the frame bent in the back. Can it be repaired or does it have to be replaced? Quote
mnduner Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 i had the same thing happen to me pull off you rear plastics and you should be able to see where its bent. probably just the end of the frame where the grab bar mounts. heat and a pipe for leverage. shitlebuffout Quote
watkins Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 I agree, mine was pretty bad like that too, just bend it back. Also check up front and make sure the plastics still fit right around the tank. My whole font where the radiator mounts to was pushed back like 2". Another way would be to cut the rear sub-frame off and fabricate a new one. Quote

1000dollabill Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 i bent mine back with the end of a cherry picker. hasn't bent again since. I didn't heat it cause it wasn't that bad. Quote

Hollister_Hitman Posted April 11, 2006 Author Report Posted April 11, 2006 (edited) I can take some better picks but I can't see anything else wrong right now except what is evident in the pictures. The wheels seem to spin straight as well as the axle. I will also try to take the gas tank off. What exactly are you looking for in a better picture..Bigger?...Different Angle?... Different spot? FasterThanU90 Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 do the plastics match up in the front? this is ours Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted April 11, 2006 Author Report Posted April 11, 2006 The front plastics are still on. I'll take them off and look at the gas tank. Quote
