RNBRAD
The rear caliper is polished / coated.. I am thinking of sending it back and have the polished part clear coated.. 496260[/snapback] Don't clear coat them!! First off it will ruin the luster, as the clear oxidises it will yellow and look bad as well. This is assuming you don't ever get brake fluid on it cause that will taker it off like hot butter. I don't know how PC will handle the brake fluid, but I bet it can't be too good on it. Stuff is nasty on paint if its contact is longer than a couple minutes. korndawg
That stuff looks VERY nice. I can't wait to see what it looks like once it's all back together. What color are you going with on the frame, suspension, and plastic?
harley_sr
The frame is in the air right now. It looks like I will have to have it painted, it will not fit in this guys oven. How well does powder coat hold up on springs? With the flex and all. Have any of you powder coated the springs? Plastics are blue.. A-arms and swinger are going to be chrome
harley_sr
would it be better to paint my springs or have the powder coated?
Banshee17Racing
It all looks good. I'm diggin' the blue powder. Is that Candy Blue? Like RNBrad said, I think I would just poilish the calipers and leave them at that.
