  1. put the lid back on without the snorkel 260 mains stock needle/stock position 1.5 on the air screws Good for 1500 feet and 70 degreess -Right off FMF's website, I would follow these instructions and hang on, the boost bottle doesn't effect jetting.
  2. ONE gently used douglas red label rim, other was trashed, buy as a spare or replace your wrecked one $25 + shipping Set of stock silencers, a couple dents, outlets have some minor damage, still work great $20 + shipping Paypal or money order. PM for fastest service.
  3. switch carbs and see if the heat problem also switches sides. If it does, check the float level, chokes, needle and tubes.
  4. Got the pipes and boost bottle and they were way above my expectations. Great seller!

  6. My bro runs T3's on his 89 shee, and they rock. He is ported with stock reeds and carbs. It pulls everywhere. If I had a j-arm shee i would all over a set. Toomey still sells the jet kit for the older pipes, and with the lid on it is spot on.
  7. Stupid question, but what color did you have the cylinders coated? Looks really nice!
  8. Jet 'er down. You said when you put the chokes on it ran worse, well that's a pretty good indication that your way rich. Just like everyone else said, the bigger ports/pipes will pull more air and fuel through the carbs, so you have to actually jet down. Just keep going on size at a time until it starts to sing. Don't forget your needles tune part and full throttle. If its kind of lazy in the mid range drop the needle or get one that is a tad leaner (smaller number) in mid range. That thing should rip!
