98bonerSTOCKshee Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 yeah well I said I will bring it to Little Sahara. So what are you running your mouth for?. LOOKs like the only thing big in Texas are the big mouth's LOL 495146 hell I just got back last week, handed out my fair share of ass whoopins and took some myself. I never once brag about how fast I am.. All I like to brag about is that I am basically stock and I have done all my own work.. That's something I can run my mouth about.. I have seen the 700 runs I ain't gonna rag on them. I actually was suprised! BTW I ain't no Texan, I was transplanted here a a young lad and won't ever admit to being a Texan, your right there are big mouths here, hell everthing is bigger in Texas right? Just having fun with ya. Quote
suzuki0702 Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Ha, on what? So you have a kfx400 huh? hahahahahahah, The only thing you can run is your mouth!!!! The KFX400 is an entry level quad just like the blaster. I think they have about the same HP. 494219 the lt-250 is an entry level quad.....wow dude stfu u have no idea what u are talking about... Quote
suzuki0702 Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 The kfx700 is for old men that can't quite commit to buying a 4x4 so they get a quad just as big and heavy and call it "sport." It's not a bad quad just a big heavy 4x4 missing the 4x4 part. It is in the same class as Polaris, big heavy and automatic. The 400 isn't the most powerful quad but its loads of fun to cruise and trail ride. If you need power then we all know what quad you ride My friend only feels under powered when we hit a straight or at the dunes, other then that he keeps up just fine in the woods and track. 494296 HUGE, HEAVY, WORTHLESS, GARBAGE, WASTE OF MONEY...I COULD GET MORE AT THE SCRAPYARD FOR ALL THE 516LBS OF STEEL THEY WASTED MAKING THAT CLUTCHLESS POS Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 the lt-250 is an entry level quad.....wow dude stfu u have no idea what u are talking about... 495248 I think Doug Gust should have raced the KFX700 instead of that Z400 that he used to ride, since the 400 was only entry level. Granted his was modded a little. Quote
Big Blue Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 There is nothing wrong with the 700's they just have a different place in atving than the others. Comparing them to a Polaris is an insult. Quote
1952 Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Hi ,New here read thru this and laughed alot. Thanks. I watched a stock 700 race a stock KFX 400 at the Oregon Dunes , they ran a half dozen times , 400 won every time. They never changed quads but you would think the 700 would have gotten lucky at least once. Quote
tithead Posted April 1, 2006 Author Report Posted April 1, 2006 wow. just fucking wow. 495749 did you read loco`s post in gen disc? if not... you aint seen nothin yet! Quote
q-ball Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 i read about this thread in the gen disc. section under funniest thing i've ever read...or somethin like that. i gotta say this has got to be one of the most entertaining threads i've ever seen on here. it also got me curious about the performance of a kfx700. next time i'm home i'm gonna borrow my neighbors that he bought for his 16 yr old daughter for her birthday. anybody interested in a performance review. by the way the 700 is a very heavy, very ugly piece o' shit! thanks for the entertainment guys!! Meat Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 I dunno Im buddies with two guys that race KFX700's in the GNCC series and they've got EVERYTHING done to thier 700's, and those quads are super fast. If I were to bet on a modded Z-400 vs a modded 700.... I'd bet the 700 would spank it in a drag race and the 400's would win on a MX or XC race. Side note, I have another buddy with a 650 Praire. Big ol 4x4. And it flat out hauls ass. It will top out around 70 on the pavement and surprise the hell out of you how fast it accelerates. The KFX700 is lighter and has more cc's than the Praire. My cousin(GNCC racer) owned a KFX700 and he's been racing for years, he got his when they first came out....about 3 years ago.... well he raced it for a while and then he wrecked it pretty bad, broke his arm and his leg, his leg was really bad. He said it had too much motor for its size and its really easy to get in over your head when your trying to XC race one. The GNCC's have a V-force class, they call it "utility unlimited" class and its packed with full race KFX700s. The racers quads are light and built. I'd never own one tho, I weight about a buck fifty Quote

Meat Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Do you have to race a V-Force or can you break out the Polaris 6x6 with the dumper bed and have at it? 496075 From the GNCC rulebook.... Utility Unlimited (ATV) - A 4 wheel or 2 wheel drive shaft or chain-driven automatic transmission/clutch ATV that does not have racks or rack availability as standard equipment. Everyone runs KXF700's in this class cause the quad didnt come with racks. Years ago everyone ran Polaris Scrambler 500s in this class. The GNCC Utility classes are really cool tho, you wouldnt think it, but they're a big part of xc racing scene. Fully decked out 750 Brute Forces with 800cc kits and Elka shocks, oh yea its a fun class. There's 3 Utility classes, Stock, Modified and Unlimited. Mike Penland races the Stock class. I have some video of the V-Forces taking off from the line at the '03 Rausch Creek Gncc. I'll see if I can dig it up and I'll post it. Quote
txblueshee Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 I wouldn't mind having one of penland's quads... Big ass ute.. big ass motor.. nice ass shocks.. auto tranny... get me to the hospital faster when I wreck my little boys quad .... Mike Quote

I don't think they come with racks. I'd like to see that vid of that race though. Quote
Meat Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 (edited) Here's the video clip. 2003 Rausch Creek GNCC Utility Unlimited class start. Its kinda lame. Im bummed with the quality. No sound either. Old digital picture camera quality. 2.12mb download. My cousin is racing is this clip, he's got a black chest protector on and he's riding the only red quad in the class, he was on his Scrambler 500 that day, I think there was only one other Polaris(the white one) racing the class, the rest were V-Forces. Cousin finished in second place at this GNCC, and the first and thrid places were V-Forces. VIDEO CLIP HERE Edited April 3, 2006 by Meat Quote
