K&N Precharger cleaning?

I just took out my filter to clean it cause it needs it, I hadnt been running my precharger for awile but I found it and looked at it and it is filthy! What is the best way to clean the precharger? I bought the recharge kit to clean my air filter with from K&N (Cleaning and oil) but the nylon precharger... best way to clean it? any suggestions would be awesome!

I use foam filter cleaner or Simple green and water

Even dish soap and water works. But plan on having to clean the sink 3x after the precharger is clean.

Dawn dish soap, and just pour it on the thing and rub it together and ball it up and swish it back and fourth, then rinse it off good.

Soak the outside with the cleaner and let it soak for a few minutes. Flush it out from the inside real good like. Let it dry in the sunshine!

I do this with mine and it works awesome

I let the washing machine do the work then let it air dry. I just add it with a few peices of laundry on a light cycle. Never tore one up yet.

Dish soap and water here. works great. K&N makes a special cleaner for them but I haven't seen it around lately.

I use the same cleaner that I use on the filter element itself, the K&N brand spray cleaner. I clean them both at the same time (with the prefilter removed from the element, of course). Works fine.
