I'd love to see this commicrat bullshit video. I live in CA and I haven't really seen this yet, but if it's really comming like you guys are talking, I think we should organize a protest and really get some attention on the stupid laws that don't really make our lives better. BilDaKid Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 So I thought I was done, but I'm not. This type of shit really gets under my skin. I hate helmet laws, I hate seatbelt laws. I hate the fact that vehicles have gotten considerably safer, easier to handle, can stop soooo much better than the 60's and 70's it's not funny, but the speed limits are basically the same. I know, wearing helmets and seatbelts save lives, and so do 65mph speed limits, but so would a hans device in every car, and a rollcage, and 35mph speed limits. It's not up to our government to regulate our life decisions, and it's our fault they are. When I used to hear old timers talk about how america was going to shit, I just thought they were living in the past. However, I think when my kids are adults(they're 8mo and 2year old boys), I'll be very saddened to see what kind of bullshit they are putting up with then. I think we all have to bite the bullet and realize that it's almosts impossible to reverse some of these things, such as helmet and seatbelt laws. But the next time I see a restrictive law being put on the books, I'm going to do my best to organize some type of community voice so it's not just the same old people arguing on CNN or Fox, but not getting anything done about it. Sorry to rant, but I'm beginning to hate everything I hear reguarding the govenment we have to deal with. Quote

Chopper cop pulls over a guy in a ricer. The guy doesn't look anything like a kid, but rather a 40'ish year old guy that probably lives at home. Cop says "You have a big exhaust" and strokes his mustache. The guy in the car with the mullet says something to the cop about his night stick. I can't remember all the details but it was made in an afternoon on a budget of about $200.00 and change. Basically the cops pull you over for a primary offense, then they tell you to pop the hood and they check it for an illegal breather hose, then you get your car impounded and you go to jail. Quote

That about sums it up too It's just another ridiculous law for the state to bring in more money...and soon, the other 49 states will start doing it, and it will spread on to lifted trucks, built muscle cars, etc. Before long we'll all be flintstoning it to the grocery store just to avoid the risk of being arrested for a slightly modified vehicle.
