So I've got to sell my shee. Sucks, but I need the money. I would like her to go to someone here that'll ride her hard and take care of the bike. It's the bike in my sig. My buddy's got a lt-r450, removed spark arrestor, airbox lid and put the cherry bomb in. Guessing from your mod's in your sig, you should beat him pretty easy. The YFZ's, from my experience, are pretty streaky. I've raced a few that were wicked fast for what was done to them, then again, others ran slow as hell. Let us know how it turns out.

Went riding in Cantamar, Mexico last weekend. I was jumping the big hill there, getting about 7-9 feet of air for about 40 or so feet. Hit it a little two hard showing off, got a little nose up and broke my forearm on the landing. It whipped the front end down on the landing pretty hard, but nothing that's never happened before. Hurt like a bitch right then, but we rode for another 4 hours. jumping, drag racing, hauling ass on the beach. Never would've though it was broke till the next day and it was so sore i barely could put my shirt on. Oh well, I bet I looked good till I landed.

Sounds exactly like what happened to me in Glamis last season. So I take it it's loose and only shifts when you return it to the center or where the shifter usually sets untill you up or downshift. If thats the problem, then the shifting mechanism adjustment screw probably broke off. It's like an $8 part that the shift return spring rides on. Just remember when youre replacing it, to tighten the jam nut really really good, and to drain the oil first. I got too excited and dumped oil everywhere. Wife was pissed.

I got really angry and motivated about 6mo ago. I Looked into trying to stage a protest, I wrote every gov. official I could find. Every single one of the officialls sent me a reply stating thier current stance on everything from abortion to immigration. However, they didn't answer a single question I had. I finally gave up. I wonder how many people do what I did and then just quit. Makes me wish I hadn't, but not enough to actually start trying again. I've got to get ready for October and the dune season again.

It's an easy problem to fix fellas. If you arrest the people employing any illegal aliens, which are breaking existing laws, all of this would stop. Like you guys said, we can't blame them for comming over here, but if we take away their ability to make a better living here, they won't come. When my bud took out the pea-shooter and lid, it made a very noticable difference. Also, if you're talking about dragging in the sand, the LTR is geared way too high with 20" paddles. If you drop the gearing a little, and pull out the baffle, it'd be so close the rider's going to make the difference. Take into accound the LTR's caddilac suspension and I know which one I'd buy.

I've got a cheap O'neal one. Makes a huge difference while dune riding. For anyone who doesn't have one, ride half the day with somebody elses, then finish the day out without one. I bet you'll buy one asap.

yep. I read in motortrend I believe, that you'd have to drive the average hybrid 110k miles for it to pay for it's premium over a non hybrid model. That's crap. The VW TDI cars and the way to go if you want to save gas.

thanks warwgn for correcting rocketboy on the carbon dating vs pb(iron) isotopes, which is what i had stated earlier. Nothing is created from explosions, just destroyed. That's bullsh!t. Explosions create the heat and pressure needed to create all kinds of things, like the smiles on all our faces when our shee tries to rip our arms off. Seriously though. Like many have said before. If believing makes your life better, then more power to you. Just don't discount anything that might disprove your religion. If you are right and god is real, then you really have nothing to worry about, and you'll get the last laugh when all of us "non believers" are in hell wishing we'd listened to you guys. I was only stating the age of the world because rocketboy said that carbon dating was inaccurate. Yes, I understand that if God created the world, he could do it in any way he wishes. He could even started the world with a big bang and then both could be right, believers and evolution. My whole problem, i guess you could say, is that religion is an institution to control people. It always has been, from the egyptians, to the greeks and romans, to the christians. Having said that, i beleive religion has nothing to do with one's spirituality. Religion asks too much from people. To believe in something their way, acknowledge that the other religions are wrong, and do so with no real proof, "just have faith". Sorry, that's not enough for me. And I don't think it's enough for most people. However, science and spirituality can coexist. Religious groups that attack a movie(fictional) because it questions their basic beliefs are outrageous.

Rocketboy. Carbon dating is a proven science. If you are trying to play it off as a tool the evil evolutionists are using to disprove religion you're crazy. You say evolution is based on a book written by a man in the 1800's. Yes, Darwin was the first to "discover" evolution. However it was a detailed, factual based book he wrote in the name of science, not in the face of christianity. The bible is a book written by many men. translated many times, rewritten several times, and this was thousands of years ago, not a couple hundred. As for all the supporting writtings by the romans, babylonians and such. There are many many others completely disproving them. Why didn't you mention them? The only people who argue against evolution are religious people who feel threatened by it. It is a fact that Earth is 4.5 billion years( +- 1%). They get this number by measureing the nuclear decomposition of some isotopes of lead. This is FACT rocketboy, not theory based of a book or stories passed through the ages. If your religion makes your life better because of the morals and values it instills in you and your family then Amen praise the lord, it's a great thing. However, don't close your mind off to fact and truth just because it challenges your normal way of thinking. We don't have concrete proof that any religion is correct or incorrect. We can't prove god exists or doesn't exist. But we can prove that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old, we can prove that some form of evolution has and is happening, and some events told to be fact in the bible we know are physically impossible. If you choose to believe that Jesus actually walked on water, made the blind see, turned water into wine and such, then good for you. Honestly though, you can't expect everyone to believe something which not only has no proof supporting it, but has significant amounts of proof disproving it. I've always tried to be openminded about things, maybe you should try that sometime.

Rocketboy? Are there any facts proving God exists? NO Are there any facts proving evolution? YES True, there may not be a factual record supporting every step of evolution. However, there are facts proving that animals evolve and that it has been occuring for millions of years. There are fossils for millions of years before any record of man? How does the bible explain that? We don't know how life began exactly, but science makes an educated guess based on facts(that's called a theory). Wow, this is one long, engrossing topic. The fact is, religion is an institution. If you think that your religion is 100% correct, then you're crazy. For all the people bashing the christians; If thier beliefs help them live their lives better and be a better person then good for them, calling them weak people is disrespectful and out of line. If the church would've left this book and movie alone, it wouldn't be as successful as it's going to be, and would not be getting near the credability is has recieved. Yeah, In California, you can\'t find one for less than 2500, and then it\'ll be completely stock, look like crap and probably have a problem with it(axle bearings, bad shock, low comp). I bought mine about 6mo ago and couldn\'t believe how much they were.
