kluke1983 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 I was wondering if anyone on here did flywheel lightening and timing advancing. Also I was wondering how far i could take my timing on 20cc domes and running pump gas thanks. Mike clark Quote
jjfizzle51 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 that all depends on your compression what is your elevation Quote
Shee-Male Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Lots of us, simple and well worth the small price tag, talk to Boonman. I personally have it done and won't ever go back! You shoul be fine @ +4 deg. Quote
2003LimitedBanshee Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Yeah, check out Ricky Stator for the adjustable timing plate. And definitely talk to boonman if you're looking to get your flywheel lightened. I just recently sent mine out to him. Got it back real quick, and made the throttle response like an F1 car. Quote
Animalman294 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Boonman has extremely good service and will treat you right. While you are at it you should take the other side of your motor apart and send in your shift star. I noticed a rather nice difference in the ridability of my shee with these mods. Its about $125 bucks for all three of these mods combined, but it is money well spent. Hope this helps............. Quote
wesw Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 boonman and bdbanshee both do the mod and are very good at it. Quote

Boonman is a great guy...just make sure you get the correct thread in flywheel puller when you do yours. A Jaw style will wreck your flywheel... For probably less than 100 bucks, you can have your flywheel shaved and put that timing plate on. Dollar for dollar...I don't know if there is a better mod for the shee..(Ok...I know pipes are the best mod to start out...but, they're a heck of a lot more than 100 bucs... ) Quote
