"You seem to say that in alot of posts im reading why dont you go and do that to your own truck? 462523[/snapback] Um, every vehicle I have ever owned has had a lift of some sort on it. Some are smaller than others, but they all have a lift of some kind. My jeep has had a 3" and a 4.5" my 8.1L has a 3" body lift and my old chevy had a 6" pro comp suspension lift. Quote

01bansheefox Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 Well just from your other posts I have seen you have a chevy truck with a body lift, some trucks from the dealership come with a body lift. Suspension is the real lift, You can only do so much with a body, a suspension will never end. Quote

danimal95 Posted January 22, 2006 Author Report Posted January 22, 2006 thanks guys, its afactory 8.8"ford rearend with all good components, suprisingly they are very strong. The trans however is a different story, ive gone through several different trannies with limited success, finally this year ill have a bullit proof trans its built by g-force transmission, they take a stock t-56 trans and replace the factory gears with their own. There are several turbo vipers, mustangs and f-bodys(camaro&firebirds)that are running in the low 9&8 sec quarter times with these. Not to mention a co-worker /friend who helped me on the car has a twin turbo camaro that makes 850rwhp has been running one of these trans's for 3 years now with no problem Quote
