slowpokebanshee Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I have the white one.... Quote
canrider22 Posted January 19, 2006 Author Report Posted January 19, 2006 That looks pretty good, Where did you get that big seat, does it work good?, or is it to high, and wierd to drive. Quote
ZillaRider02 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I have the IMS 4.0 gal. It fits nicely and is handy to have when everybody else is filling up with gas. Quote
Wallrat Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I've never even heard of a clear tank. I've heard of natural, which is also see thru. But that's not clear, its more of a off-white/brownish color. Quote
BilDaKid Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Sorry to dig up this old post, but is there anyway to paint one of these and it last at least a season or two? Quote

Capone Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Krylon? I don't know about spilling gas on it though... Quote
Wallrat Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Gas seaps through tanks. If anything I'd guess that maybe some RC car paint might work. Stays flexible and is resistant to alcohol at least. Quote
theeechozen1 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 with the tanks being pourous, ur better off leaving them be, it will look better in the long run Quote
racer Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 Gas seaps through tanks. 492616[/snapback] no shit? Quote
Justintoxicated Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 I think I saw a clear tank and it looked liek shit after it got stained. but you could see how mcuh fuel was inside. I beleive it had a yellowish color to it. Could be wrong though maybe what i saw was something else. Quote
Wallrat Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 (edited) IMS and Clarke offer tanks in a color they call "natural". Its kinda a brownish white color. Yeah you can see the fuel level thru it but it looks like shit. And yeah Cole, tanks are porous. Not for a shee, but here's what they look like new (its all downhill from here): Edited March 28, 2006 by Wallrat Quote
sheewanter Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 do they make an oversized tank that you can still put the front plastic over it to keep it looking stock??? Quote
