apbt549 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 guys keep an eye on your banshees they will and are stolen when you think they are safe...mine was taken out of the back of my truck while i was at work i iparked in a high traffic area and was parked right out frt of where i work.my truck was parked maybe 15yards in frt of my building..they cut the starps and pushed it down the road and cranked it up and drove it off...and do yourself a favor go get insurance on your bikes..i didn't have any insurance and now it looks like i might be out like 7-8k.unless the companys insurance will cover it......it was a yellow and blk 2003 limited editon i miss it already its only been 4days so maybe the cops will find it..i found out it was gone like 20 mins after they took it... locogato11283 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 hmm prolly someone who knows you.they knew exactly when to come get it. id be leary of friends at this point. if they are smart youll never get it back. if they are dumb you might catch them riding it around. you companies insurance will most likely not cover it so i wouldnt get your hopes up there.. apbt549 Posted January 9, 2006 Author Report Posted January 9, 2006 i live in southwest florida.......... i am with you wallace its hard top find them if and when i do i will be all over them..........last person seen on it was a blk male with dread locks...... Quote
bigboybanshee Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Sucks to hear it! This is the exact reason I never take my quads with me unless I'll be able to keep an eye on them in the back of my truck. It only takes a few seconds to undo the straps and yank it out the back. I've learned that high traffic areas are the worst because no one knows who the real owner is, so they don't know it's being stolen. The people walking/driving by probably thought it was the owner taking it down the road. Sorry to hear about your loss Quote
