and if you race (at least here) they won't let banshee's in the race, they have banned 2 strokes from atv racing here.

The ama has made 2 strokes mx bikes hard to race with the unfair advantage they gave to the 4 strokes also on a side note.

pretty soon I perdict Cali banning them from the dunes with all the sticker rule they have.

times are changing and 4 stroke rule the track.

I seriously doubt that they would ban the banshee from Glamis California. You go the hill and look aroung 1 out of 2 riders on a quad seems to be ridding a banshee. ( or two stroke of some kind.) Even if they do, there is no way they can enforce it, banshees can always out run them.

Yeah in fact, I'm buying a 2006 banshee to store in the garage. I figured that after a while it will increase in value.

Damn wish I had the money(or self control) to buy a bike and just let it sit there... The YFZs don't impress me that much :shrugani: Not sure if people are just lazy so they don't like the kick start or mixing fuel or what. Maybe their just not aware of how fun the Banshees are... Maybe they just need to take the Banshee challenge :headbang::D

the yfz is a better ride if you race thats why. dont like the kick start on the banshee? no thats what i love about my banshee. kick start or mixing gas has nothing to do it. you go do a couple laps around your local track on a stock banshee then on a stock yfz and you come back and post which is better. and dont tell me that you like mixing your gas

ya the seat on the 06 is way better imo then the 05. but a little bit of discomfort for a lot of performance is worth it

Hmmm and most are saying the dis-comforts of the Shee are why it is going bye bye??? NOTHING can compare with the shee when it comes to haulin ass!

I agree there 100%. After riding a while when we stop everyone I ride with gets off there ride and says there butt hurts. Not me on the shee :D Love that seat. I even helped a friend mod his sled to take a shee seat. :headbang:

even with the suspension you had on it?

It felt like a 1 ton truck in the air.. it handled great but it took twice the energy to make it that way... arm pump was a big problem also... theres only soo much 9'' of suspension travel can do... It's sad to say but it's almost not even worth comparing the suspension to a 450... Let's not even get on the subject of LT :bolt: ..... regardless of what the magazines say all of the stock suspension sucks...

it looks to me like everyone is dumping the banshee for 4stroke Quads. whats so damn specail about them strokers? are they already eating up the 350 twin?

If it wasn't for the banshee, I wouldn't have a quad. Nothing can replace it for me.
