fast87 Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 use the handyman's secret weapon...DUCT TAPE!! it'll work for a while until you can make something permanent out of super glue and rope...until then good luck, i know there are companies that make billet intakes..try a google search or trinity might sell em..better yet askt he guy you bought the monsterous 600cc kit from, good luck and dont kill yourself on that beast, i can only imagine how fast it'll get up and go, daaamn!! ~Mark~ Quote
Wallrat Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 Oooo man I can just imagine the mess that duct tape would make! He's kidding by the way, or at least I hope he's kidding. Gasoline will disolve the sticky stuff on the tape rendering it useless on the first ride. All that goo will be going into your engine which can't be a good thing. Do you actually need an intake or are you trying to mate the carb boot up with an intake? Cuz if you just need a piece of hose to connect the 2 you can find some silicone hose in many different I.D.'s at a number of online car parts places. Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 if ur needin the actual intake boots that bolt to the cylinders you might try FAST racing. id be willing to get he can get u some or at least point u in the right direction.. Quote
23champ Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 You might want to give UPP a try. I know they make boots for 39mm carbs. Not sure if they make them any bigger tho. Quote
