  1. i picked up a set of 36mm lectrons and have a 370cc on gas. i dont know if these carbs were on gas or alcohol. the needles say 4-2. will these work for gas? my elevation is 500'
  2. Brand spankin new , just opened box to take photos, i ended up with two sets, only need one. these are awesome pipes, make great power, have built in muffler but are still quite loud. these have never been mounted, i just opened the box to take the pics. will take $590 shipped.

  4. somebody mentioned that some kind of acid dissolves the aluminum from the nikasil plating. what kind of acid and where might i get some. my cheetah cyl has a buildup of aluminum from the sieze. i thought it burned through the nikasil but the more i look at it im not so sure.
  5. i siezed my 421 cheetah this weekend at sand mtn, nv. it appears that i burned through a small portion of the nikasil plating near one of the ports. i have a 4mil crank and trinitys website says that a 4mil crank will make a 485 cheetah. do i bore out to a 485 or repair the nikasil in the one cylinder since it only hurt one side? who does nikasil near ca
  6. i came across a used pvl ignition and installed it on a 600cc superior sleeve banshee motor. it starts and runs but i was wondering if anybody knows how to check the timing. the rotor/flywheel that slides on the crank does not have a woodruff key like the normal flywheel. being used, the pvl rotor had a rust spot where the woodruff key was on the old crank so i lined the rust spot up with the woodruff key slot on my crank to get it close. so now how can i check the timing? the stator does have the three mounting holes that are slotted so i can adjust the timing, i just am uncertain how to check it.
  7. I BOUGHT A 10 MIL STROKER THAT NEEDS AN IGNITION SYSTEM ON IT. THE BIKE I'M PUTTING THE MOTOR INTO HAS A PACKARD 370 IN IT WITH A PVL IGNITION. I WANTED TO PUT THE PVL SYSTEM ON THE 10 MIL BUT WHEN I TRIED TO FIND OUT MORE ON THE PVL A DEALER WEBSITE SAID THEY WERE NOT RECOMENDED FOR STROKER MOTORS. ANY IDEAS WHY? I DON'T SEE WHY THE IGNITION WOULD CARE IF IT WAS ON A STOCK CRANK OR STROKER.
  8. i picked up a 600 cc superior sleeve motor and have some 44 mm lectrons for it but i need to find the intake boots that will fit carbs that big. any ideas/
  9. i have a 421 cheetah and run 38 pwk's for carbs and use a 145 main jet . i ride mostly at sand mtn., nv which is about 4000 ft.
