northshore Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 I just put my timming plate on and adjusted the gap, now when it runs it feels like hardly any exaust is comming out of the left side, so i pulled the plugs, and i dont ever see the left side spark? any ideas what could be wrong? and if there is no spark, why does exaust still come out the left side? thanks in advance Quote

Akita888 Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Was the quad running before you adjusted the gap? What gap did you adjust? Did you try a new spark plug? Need more info Quote
northshore Posted December 20, 2005 Author Report Posted December 20, 2005 it was running before, but if the pick up gap is wrong, wouldnt both cylinders not spark? i checked the plugs, and switched the right and left with no change, the left side just does not spark. is it okay to switch the spark plug wires? or do the spark at different intervals? banshee tuner Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 Get a spark tester from an auto parts store, they are only about 8 bucks and well worth it. Quote
