CadillacBanshee
My friend just checked his compression and it is 189psi with coolheads. Whats the best octane to run? With yamauibe belray synthetic.
FASTOYS
I would say with almost 190 lbs of compression he will need at least some 110 octane! Or alky !
420 RACING
I have 180psi on mine and have about 25-30 hours with no problems running during the summer and winter. I use turbo blue 110 leaded mixed 32/1 with klotz supertechnaplate. just my .02 good luck

Shee-Male
checked again, its 185. Is there a disadvantage to having compressoin that high? 444349 pinging...and putting sunroofs in both your pistons
blueshee03
yeh it takes away from topend, but higher compression does give more bottom end.165-175 is a great compression range.

hittintrees srh
my bad, 20cc domes 444638 damn that a lot of compression!!! Ive got 19cc. domes and im around 130psi. Though I do have a good size port, I still think it might be time for a new top end.
rocketboy
octane requirements are not just reliant on compression or dome size alone ,the exhaust port height , the ignition timing ,and squishband clearance all come into play . 100ll aviation fuel would be my recomendation for you,id say bout anything over 105 will work ,youl lknow if its detonating ,plugs will have tiny aluminum specks on them and youll hear the bike popping/pinging and hesitating
