Ok.. What's the top notch Suspension out there. I was reading about the Custom Axis Shock's... What else is good out there shock wise. I will be doing alot of trail riding and hope to go to the dunes but thats a far ride for me right now so mostly trail riding & hoping dunes. Price isnt an issue i just want to buy somthing once.

So I need ALL INFO on shock's,swing arms,a-arms,axles...Any info will help me out alot.

Getting off the suspension Question. Where is the best place to have a motor built..Well known people that does good quality work.

man let me tell you...I rode a banshee setup with +2+1 a-arms with custom axis shocks this weekend ...and it rode like a dream, soaked up everything, nice and plush, rode way better than a works setup I rode. I can't really tell you about anything else because all i've tried out is works and axis, but alot of people like tcs, just depends on what your looking for. theirs a lot of discussions in the suspension section about what shock is the best...look around.

I have +2+1 arms on my shee, but I have been putting $$ into the engine so far, not much left over for shocks. Even with stock shocks on those arms, it's way better than stock. Real nice ride. I plan on getting some Elka's when I am done with engine work.

ALBA HAS A COMPLETE SUSPENSION FOR THE FRONT WITH THE ELKA SHOCKS...FOR LIKE 900...ARE ALBA A-ARMS GOOD?...I MEAN IM NOT GOING ALL OUT RIDING SO I GUESS ALKA SHOCKS WILL DO?....

Elka shocks rule dude. No compromise there. The Alba arms aren't bad from what I hear but Quicksand arms are better.

if your riding dirt trails you may want to stick to a-arms with sealed balljoints like the alba arms. I have sceen them and they are good arms and easy to setup.

Quicksand will give you more adjustabilit though.

The cheap elkas are ok, but some people prefer to get shocks with more adjustability. Gotta love adjustments on shocks !

Can't go wrong with custom axis if you have the time and money. Thats probably the most expensive best shock out there out of the box if you get their top of the line shocks. Never rode them myself.

I dont want 2 get the cheap elkas. Dont they have a better version of the elka shocks where you do have adjustments? Why do you say with the custom axis shocks if you have " time " are they a pain in the ass to set up or? Thank's for the inputs

Id go with Herrmann racing A arms they look beefy as hell and are priced very reasonably. Also Elka shocks are really nice and cheaper than axis with the same quality. Id look into the SSDs or Self Sagging Design, they are somewhat like a zero preload shock without the big price tag.

www.herrmannracing.com $535 for caster adj. only and $660 for caster/camber adj.

has HD balljoints instead of heims which I feel are more reliable and better then heims, but thats my opinion and alot will disagree.

Yep, for alot of people the sealed balljoints would be better. Unless you ride in sand, or somewhere else totally dry, the heims will wear out sooner or later. Personally the arms I've been looking at are the Ishock a-arms.
