brilei5
I have my Shee torn apart donig a bunch of upgrades. Since it's down to the chassis I would like to shine up my three year old powdercoat. Its not beat up just dull in spots from normal wear and tear. I was thinking of just wet sanding it and buffing it with the polishing wheels for my drill. Anybody got any better ideas or tricks, or should my idea work out O K ? bigboybanshee
wet sand with some 2000 grit and polish up with some good compound 442164[/snapback] Interesting, I never knew you could do that...I'm guessing the 2000 grit paper just takes off the top layer on the coating? What kind of compound would you recommend to polish it with? My PC'd frame is kind of dull in spots too and I would love to make all of it shine like new again
cb67rs1
yeah you can do the same thing to powder coat as you can with paint, be carefull not to sand too far though and use a good 3m compound to polish it up.

brilei5
I took your advice and my frame looks almost as good as new. A coulps spots could use a second time around (areas like where my boots rub). Otherwise I am Very happy with the outcome. Thanks again.
