watkins Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Have some downtime until my next ride so I am going over everything on the bike. In the process I pulled the Prodesign flange out of the airbox and noticed that the o-ring was completly destroyed... only that probably saved me was the fact that I put silicon all over the flange before installation (but then again my bike has been blowing up a bunch latley).... so my question is where the heck do I get a replacment o-ring? I checked prodesigns website and they do not list it. Quote
biggun6ss Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 You can probably get an o-ring from a gasket shop or auto parts store, Just be sure to get the right size. Quote
dawarriorman Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 How did the o-ring get destroyed? I don't really see how anything could get to it. Not something I think they counted on as being a wear item. I think your best (and only) bet would be to call them up. Quote

dawarriorman Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Yeah I guess it could, just doesn't seem like it would unless its been there for years. Quote
watkins Posted December 12, 2005 Author Report Posted December 12, 2005 Think i can get by without the o-ring? Was the first mod i ever did to the banshee so it probably got pinched during installation? Think if i just re-use it and put a nice layer of silicon on the rest of the adapter? Quote
Banshee~ Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 Call prodesign and see if they have replacements. If that fails call david noss up, his adaptor plates have an o-ring and it might be the right size. Quote
chris642 Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 ya man, just call pro designs up. Im sure they will be more than happy to help. Quote
