Suzuki Stomper Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 I was wonder if anyone else can start there Banshee with bare feet? Mine I think is low on compression but I am not sure. Is that how 2000 banshees are made or are they supposed to be hard to kick over? Quote
ogre03 Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Best bet would be to do a compression test. The testers are cheap and you will eventually need one anyway. Make sure to get the type with the threaded end. Other than that, I've never tried to kick mine over bare foot, and I'm not real sure why you would have either Quote
banshdog Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Definately check your compression. Most likely if it feels like your bike is too easy to kick, you probably have low compression. Never really wanted to kick my bike with bare feet, it is possible i suppose, but seems like you could hurt yourself doing it. Quote
99Banshee Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Bare feet...wtf kinda riding you do..lol just joking man.. I think you should check compress. like they are saying, It's good to check it once and a while anyway to maks sure everything is A-Ok.. Quote
dawarriorman Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 I wouldn't do it in your bare feet, I cracked a bone in my foot kicking in sandles. But yeah, I would get a compression tester, sounds like you should rebuild. Quote
s-540 Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 it's not that hard to kick a banshee over if you compare it to a yz 490. Quote

RATBIKE0130 Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 I can start one of my groups Banshees with my arm. Just grab the kicker and push on it. The only real way to tell whats going on is to do a compression test. Quote
Suzuki Stomper Posted November 18, 2005 Author Report Posted November 18, 2005 Thanks for your help. I will go buy a compresion tester today. Anyone know what the compresion should be? Quote
