Best bet would be to do a compression test. The testers are cheap and you will eventually need one anyway. Make sure to get the type with the threaded end. Other than that, I've never tried to kick mine over bare foot, and I'm not real sure why you would have either :shrugani:

Definately check your compression. Most likely if it feels like your bike is too easy to kick, you probably have low compression. Never really wanted to kick my bike with bare feet, it is possible i suppose, but seems like you could hurt yourself doing it.

Theres a trick to starting those open bikes.I could start my 500 with sandles on first kick everytime and it had 140 psi
