Im getting some a arms for quicksand motorspots and can't decide what finsih to get. How well does chrome stay if your riding in fields and such. I like chrome but if it get ruined quickly i would rather get powdercoat lowers and chrome uppers.

 

also, what colors go good wtih candy blue. Like i know black and red look really nice together. im trying to stay away from silver.

anybody have a picture of a banshee with a blue frame and black a arms?

 

EDIT: My Frame still has the chance to be another color, Carrier,Hubs,Calipers all of that stuff has been pc'ed candy blue. They frame color can still be anything

Chrome is definitely more durable than PC. The benefit of PC though is you can touch it up with a matching paint as where chrome would need replated. It should only cost a fraction of the price of the initial plating should you ever need to replate them.

HOW do you powdercoat a arms , do you remove the rubber boot and thats it ? doesnt it damage the ball joints ? i thought you couldnt do so ! was i told wrong ? also does anyone no of any mail order chroming fairly decent ?
