99Banshee Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Dude I cannot even begian to understand how hard it is to sell your shee. I mean gd all them houres wrenching making it the bike that was a 1 of a million to 1 of a kind, all the hours tunning, riding and keeping her looking like its never seen the dunes... That is like your own flesh and blood.. I just hope it goes to a good home, to someone that know's how hard it is to build a bike that looks/preform's as good as this one.. Quote
DemonShee Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 haha, I wish that was part of my stable. That's DemonShee's bike. One of the nicer bikes on this forum. Just sucks to see it for sale is all. 436862 DAMN, I wish that was my Shee! Now I have a quad to look up to when I do mine all up this winter. Quote
1.6i Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 (edited) one very nice shee Edited November 15, 2005 by 1.6i Quote
tats4life Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 this whole thread is makin me sick to my stomach.....blaine...you about to get an ass chewin from me....don't make the same mistake i did!!!! Quote
BansheeBrian Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Hard to think you would want to orphan a nice shee like that.Think of the time you enjoyed wreching on it,building it to what it is today.Take a long hard look at air pic and think of how you free your mind was of all stresses and issues while ripping around the dunes. Envision the buyer "Louis Lipshitz" who owns and beats a 400ex for example slow rolling out of you driveway with you're pride only to find it a month or two dismantled and carelessly posted it's parts on E-bay.Dude,WTF!!!!!!!!! Quote
NYUK Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 his price is a steal for anybody looking, that quad cost triple to build.there isn`t one half assed part on it.somebody better snag it if it ain t gone already. Quote
namshee Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 this is sick!!! That is what i paid for my stock shee (2nd hand) last yaer (2002 model) fukin disgusting - someone buy and look after this great shee!! Quote
99Banshee Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I'd buy it in a heart beat, but im so broke I cannot even fix my own shee.. Quote
RNBRAD Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Blaine that things like an icon, legend etc.. You just need to store it away cause I can guarantee you will eventually regret selling it. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Blaine that things like an icon, legend etc.. 437242 I don't think you could be more accurate. Whenever I would think of the "perfect duner"...dunedemon's banshee ALWAYS popped into my head. Whoever buys it will be a VERY happy camper. Sad to see you sell it, but can understand your reasons why Quote

DUNEDEMON Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Jesus guys I appreciate your kind words and thoughts, Thank you! but it is just a quad. Now I realize that we all love our Banshees here, but they are just toys. Granted they are lots of fun and great stress relievers but they can be replaced or duplicated. Building them is the fun part for me. Now while I do have more $$ in this thing that what I am asking for it it is 9 years old, the Banshee market on the west coast is pretty soft, and we all know we will never get out what we put in $$ wise, plus like many have stated you can buy a new bike for that price. If someone buys this thing it will have to be someone who realizes the the time & money that was spent, and appreciates aftermarket parts. If it does not sell then it does not sell (I have yet to have one serious offer) I will keep it before I part it out. Quote
grounded Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I understand his point of view " building it is fun" part and totally relate. Trying to start building something new can be refreshing, especially to those of us who constantly swap parts, upgrade, etc, etc. I'll bet anything the toy that replaces this one will be even better thought out and be just as unique. Now only if I could sell some stock and scrape some pennies together for that bad mo fo!! Quote
Wallrat Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Hmm...yfz's in the condition of my wife's bike are going for about $6500-ish out here. I'm seriously considering trying to sell it and then giving Blaine the cash. Quote
