hittintrees srh Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 the pipes are good-the rest is up to you Quote
Guest nightmare Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 I love my Pro Circuit pipes. They make good power. If the pipes are your only mod start with 280 mains. That is what i am running and should put you in the ballpark depending on your altitude. I'm at 700 feet. Quote
steve1982 Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 i have pro circuit stock air box with snorkle off and a k&n i am running 260 mains seems to run great Quote
Handyman Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 When I had a stock engine, K&N filter pods, full PC system with T304 silencers I was running 290 mains clip in 4th position from top 400ft above sea level. Ran like a champ Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 i got a 90 with pc plat. and clamp on uni`s at 240 and it screams Quote
midnite Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 (edited) When I got my 99 it had pc plats, mild port, and proflow, jetting was 300 mains, pilots #27.5, needle in 3rd position. When I got my 99 it had a great mid hit, but seemed flat on bottom and top. So out came the 300's, in went 320's. Flat spot on top started to disapear. Out went the 320's, in went 330's. Ran even harder on top. Out went the 330' in went the 340's. Ran wicked hard. Don't have any 350's yet, but when I get them I'm trying them. My elevation is 650ft, temp was 80 degrees, [mixed my gas at 50:1 which tricks the jets into thinking they're bigger than they are]. So I'm running at 340 mains. Why in the world are people running such small main jets? If you are under 1000ft, there's no way you should be under 300, and thats with a closed air box. Open that box up, and you should be in the 350 to 330 range. But hey, if you don't want all the power your motor has to offer it's your buisness. Edited November 27, 2005 by midnite Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 DO U THINK I SHOULD GO WITH BIGGER JETS I DO MOST OF MY RIDIN BETWEEN 0-600FT. IN THAT RANGE GIVE OR TAKE THANKS Quote
