I have tried the o-rings that came with the pipes, fmf's,stock yamaha's,and cpi's they all have leakes and it makes a huge mess all over the bike ,my pants and boots.I have put several bikes together and never had this problem.Any tricks or o-rings that seem to work better.......Adam

I bought a set of o-rings from F.A.S.T.Racing.I never tried them before I tore the bike down.Might need to give him a call. They just might work.

do you have a spacer thing to space the head pipes away from the frame.

I used the o-rings that came with the cosmetic gasket kit I got when purchasing my Wiseco rebuild kit. When I put my Shearers on my bike I used these ones instead of the ones I got with the pipes. If I remember correctly they were a little thicker than the o-rings that came with the pipes.

theyre just black o rings ... not the bronze colored ones you may get in some topend kits

and about any mc/atv shop should stock them

shearer's are a good running pipe but they're built like sh*t. My cousing has a set and all of the rivots holding the silencers on have fallen out or aer loose. The head pipes have never fit right, either hitting on the cylinder or the frame. and what I mean by head pipes is not the left and right, but the two sets he's gone through.
