i just read a fourm that said the higher compresion the less top end.is this true?because the last time i went riding my shee felt like it lost top end i was running 17cc domes at 185psi,prior to that i was running19cc domes at 160psi and it ripped alot faster on the top.any help????? :evil::evil:

thanx guys,that's what i thought,i lost alot of over rev with the 17cc domes i just got done putting my 19's in,she'll be back to her good old self now.i guess some things i gotta learn the hard way$$$$ :evil::evil:

Like stated above you'll lose some over-rev.

But with a highercompression you'll gain some low end if your doing trails and the like.

My last trail top end was running 220psi/cylinder. Had gobs of low end torque, coupled with a 2 into 1 pipe and 2 into 1 carb wow.

just loosen your spark plugs up a little, that should cause your compression to go down a little....right  :confused:

your compression would go down because your destroying your engine

air leaks i would say
