Powdercoating foot pegs

Mine are worn and are starting to rust, has anyone powdercoated theirs? If so how well does it hold up with riding boots on them.

see a bunch of chrome ones on ebay. guess powdercoating would hold up ok...or just get some propeg nerfs like i did

I've been using a set for a few months now.About the only place they have worn down is on the teeth,which would be normal anyway.Everyplace else looks like the day they were done.

my roll pegs on the craptor are pc'ed...worked great...very little has worn off..i say go for pc..

There's nothing out there yet that ain't gonna wear off on the teeth. I've had mine pc'd for almost 2 years now, and just the teeth are showing metal - but no rust cuz of constant use.

I wanted to get mine chromed but they were not ready for the chrome so I jsut have mine spray painted still...I would get them PCed if I could find a place to do it cheap...I should have sent them with my A-arms to the chrome shop

Yeah me too.

Well, before I starting making billet pegs.

I had a translucent blue on mine and they didn't look too bad 2 years later. Like the other said. they only place the PC had worn off is where my boots rubbed it off, and where the kick starter smashes into the right peg.
