Help!

Bidding on ebay for these.

The guy reckons they are Gnarly's but this is the pic off the FMF site of a Gnarly.

The ones on ebay look more like SST's.

Anyone shed light on this ??

from that pic they don't look like the SST's that i had nor do they look like the pipe in the pic below. the style name of the pipe should be stamped on them. do you have anymore pics, possibly close ups? this is what an SST looks like, notice that the section between the pipe and the stem that connects to the stinger is skinnier than the stem, that is one of the differences between the SST's, fatties, or gnarly's.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Seller insists they are Gnarly's, Gnarly spec will not really suit MX riding I do.

Will look at Fattys, and the T5's.

I am virtully the only 2 st on the grid at the meetings I do. Can whip the 4st out of the gate, and corners but am loosing out 2nd half of straights. so need to change pipes as one of the quickest upgrades.

Not much Dune riding in the UK, only the once yearly Weston Beach Race. 500 quads, mass start and man made dunes/jumps.

Cheers

Don't listen to these guys, Fattys make more HP throughout the powerband than T5's Except T5's reve out a little farther giving them a 2HP increase on top. you can buy a degree key for $15 that will give you a 2HP increase at top, and throught the mid-upper powerband. T5's are nicer looking though. It's going to come down mostly to the rider compairing these 2 pipes. If the hill/drag is long enough the T5 bike will eventualy catch up to you.

THey are both similar and great pipes.

SST's do typicaly make some more HP on a stock banshee, but Fattys work better with a ported bike so I would jsut get them instead.

Thanks again for the advice, Just read the other thread, Fatty v's T5. After all the reading and some of the online tech detail gonna go for theFatty's.

They will suit the MX tracks I mostly ride.

They are also the most reasonably priced here in the UK. 245 Quid.

Mind you thats still a bit of a rip off. Thats about 440 $
