ellison445 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 (edited) Whats up fellas, pretty sure by now you know what happened! Just want to say thanks for all your prayers and support Yesterday started out to be a nice day then ended up a living hell! Met up with Chris642, did some trail riding, had a good time. Chris had to run so I headed back to my truck to fix my filter. Got everything up and running and figured I 'd do a couple of fast passes. So I started from the same spot I usually do, everything was going fine, I was at the bottom of 5tH, when I noticed what looked to be a small jump ahead. So I gunned it.......................figuring I can take the jump. By the time I got there it was already to late. I just remember myself saying " OHHH SSHHHITT"!!!! To my surprise there was a huge hole about 7 feet deep. About 10-12 feet wide, full of rocks, pipes, poles and construction debris, All I could do was take the impact. I did not want to jump off the bike, due to an accident I had last year which left me with a few pins in my leg. The bike hit nose first, launching me in the air where I hit face first and flipped about three times. And landed on my back. At the speed I was going if there was a lillte more dirt on the jump I would of cleared it. But you know how that goes! Left the ER with a broken wrist, broken pinky,( left arm) road rash across my right forearm, legs ,back and bruised ribs !!!! Edited October 9, 2005 by ellison445 Quote

Cotton eyed Joe Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 HOLLY SHEET MANG! All too familiar with that...The sound of the initial impact when I ate shit was one of the sickest sounds I've ever heard. Good to see you are back online typing n shit. Hopefull your injuries will heal quickly. I had the bruised rib thing too. Had some weird pulled muscle from my low back up into the right side of my neck. I couldn't turn my head to the right or swallow much food.... The only thing laying around that I could send if you need it is one headlight. I got a set of foot pegs too, but you probably don't need those. I got the stock heel guard things in the garage too though. Just thought of that. Get well soon. Quote
