I have it disconnected it. Put new coil, stator in and still acts like the TORS are kicking in just like when the parking brake is on.everthing is disconnected. What do I look at next????? Ruko
Make sure the park brake is also unhooked. There is a wire coming from it that needs to be disconnected as well. A buddy of mine had his do the same thing a couple weeks ago. He unhooked the TORS but it still wouldn't go. Then he shook the park brake wire and waalaa it came right back to life. He already had his plastic back on so he rode like that all day and unhooked it later. So his next mod will be a TORS removal kit.
Rodeoranger
The parking brake and everything associated with the TORS has been diconnect or removed completly. I thought if all that was removed or disconnected that should have done it. Is there anything else that I might be missing???
2_stroke_me03
make sure that you put the slides back in the same carb because if they get put in the wrong carb it will run like shit.A buddy of mine did that because the slides will fit in either side . And it ran like shit so i told him to switch the slides and it runs perfect now

I thought if all that was removed or disconnected that should have done it. Is there anything else that I might be missing??? You say that the parking brake has been disconnected, and removed..... When you took the parking brake off the rear end, did you put a "block off" in it's place??

jaysea1
Like a couple of the other guys said, you need to disconnect the tors at the box, but also at the parking brake connection(near the steering stem) if this isn't disconnected, you won't be able to go above idle.
