kotin6 Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I would rather kill myself than keep the banshee stock! 419416 an unthought out post like that makes me wish you would Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 HA!Can't go wrong with a fat chick metaphor. 419716 You speak as though you've had first hand 3rd roll experience. Quote
dogboystoy Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Unfortunately for me my banshee is stock, except for my K&N filter. OOOOh, I almost forgot, I took the snorkle off too.... Just being married with 2 kids doesnt leave much for play money... Hopefully in the spring with my tax return, i can spend 500 on some pipes/silencers. I have a 2000 banshee that I bought brand new, I still have the factory brakes, clutch, and tires. I have to get some new tires soon (too many leaks on the fronts). I am such a slacker....Maybe I should get a divorce so that i can get some new parts... So my gas mileage is as good as you can get on a banshee. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 You speak as though you've had first hand 3rd roll experience. 419842 LMFAO I've been chased but never wrangled. Maybe what I said was an allegory and not a metaphor. Quote
lincster Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Sell it and buy a 4 stroke. You bought the wrong bike to save on gas...... You want to see some fuel burned, I burn through 40 gallons of Premium in my buggy in a weekend. Quote
hittintrees srh Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I guess its just the nature of the beast. My bansh can suck the tank bone dry in about 40min. of WOT dune ridding. Sorta spendy when ya gotta run 110. Money well spent IMO Quote

taldoc3 Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 You actually get pretty good gas milage on a shee, rob about the same as a car, put three gallons in a car tun WOT and see how long it takes to burn it bout the same as a shee Quote
2yammy Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 (edited) Labor day weekend I rode with a group of 4 strokes 3rd ,4th gear haulin ass though trails. I got about 22 miles into the trail that I had to switch it to reserve. I started with a full tank. We were on our way back and I ran out of gas. Got some gas from some kid with a blaster to get me back. Two carbs WOT burned up some gas. But it was the funnest ride I've been on. Them 4 pokes hardly burned any gas. I guess 24 miles is my approx. range. Edited September 29, 2005 by 2yammy Quote
y2kbanshee9187 Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 porting=less fuel? I dont know what to tell ya. Not as much powerband? IDK. I dont have enough time to ride to have to worry about that. Quote
