ToomeySheeLE Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Hey everyone I've been wanting to get a set of sand tires for quite some time.. the ole razrs are great but spin like hell and make the motor run harder than it should.. as winter approches i was thinking that I'd try to find out what people have best luck in the snow with.. because i figure they will be obviously quite good in sand as well.. So my question is whats the best people have used in snow? I see maxxis has a "for Snow" tire.. it claims to be great.. but they seem new and snow hasn't fallen yet so those claims cant really be dependable... your thoughts please Thank Brad, Ontario Quote

ToomeySheeLE Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 Thanks.. Shit.. i hate to see that studding is the way to go.. I studded my stock dunlops that were nearly burnt off and they were good on ice.. but on snow.. shit i'd hate to put screws in my razrs... im surprised people seem to dislike the 4 snows by maxxis.. they're lighter than most sand tires which i figure as a plus.. hmm... stumped.. love to ride in the winter but dont love sleds so much... tOj Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 The 4-snows are not new, they have been around for a couple of years.. they are very well known to work great in the snow. Quote
