bigboybanshee Posted September 15, 2005 Author Report Posted September 15, 2005 Wow, there's some pretty good info in here, thanks everyone for the advice!!! lol, I'm about to go on a massive tire hunt now after reading everything, I know for sure I'm gonna pick up some Gnarlys and pro wedges, I'm thinking about getting a set of turf tamers too. I did find out the track was a dirt / clay mix and one of the guys I talked to said people run pro wedges a lot. I'm really hoping it doesn't rain this weekend, I'm dying to get out there just to run this bastard. The track I'm talking about is Springhill, it's a 300' dirt drag strip about 25 miles south of Collierville, TN; it's either right in or around Ashland, MS. I haven't been there yet but I hear if you get on highway 72 and head south (from where I am) you can't miss it. Here's the site for the track www.springhilltrack.com Thanks again for all the help!!!!!! Quote
alcoholbanshee Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Pretty sure springhill is a pro-wedge track. A set of pro wedge 2's should do great for you!!!!!! Don't waste your time with zippers, 4 snows or pro-wedge 501's. They may look the same as wedge 2's.......but they are not, and if you make any horsepower at all you will be wasting your money. Quote
