Ducman Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 I heard someone on one of the weekly news journal shows say the war is costing " BILLION DOLLARS A DAY" but I think they just pulled that out of there ass. They were somewhat insinuating that if we hadn't spent all the money on the war that would have been able to afford to updated the dikes around New Orleans. (even though the potential hurricane/flood problem has been known for over 50 years) I think not very long ago the total cost of the war was estimated at around the +400 billion range. Quote
