bansheeman350 Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Whats up guys. Well I took everyones advice about the Toomey T-5 pipes and still seriously considering buying them. But just the other day I came upon Lrd website and came across the new non-adjustable RFX pipes for the shee and according to there website there pipes produce 49.8 hp @ 8200rpm sounds impressive to me. Anyway I decided to give them a call and verify if it was true and they said "yes, there pipes produce the most hp for the stock banshee engine and the more you do to the motor the more hp and acceleration you will have." So do any of you guys have or know people that do have the new or old LRD pipes on your shee? If so let me know how they sound, and perform. Quote
Banshee~ Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 You cant believe everything your hear. 49.8 hp on a stock engine is bullshit, I would get the toomeys. Quote
Pest Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Look @ the honda 350 pipe it says 64 HP, my bike with there pipe dyno'd @ 49.7. on my 350. I also had there 250 version on my 250 motor and only got 34HP they claim 48, There numbers are for advertising purposes and are bias, but they do have the best chrome. Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 so on their website it says 48hp?? and then u call them and they say the same thing?? well no shit. i doubt they are gonna say "no we were just kidding about that". i would go with t5's. they are proven to run great on stock and ported motors.
