I'm looking to trade an ltr450 sport atv. For either a honda or yamaha 450 sport atv. (stock or modified doesn't matter). But open to other sport atv's trades as well. Not looking for junk, no bent frames or any other type of frame damage, not a piece of crap , something that barely works, or is in need of major work etc. The bike is still being financed through GE Money Bank and the payments are $150 a month. this is a very good strong, clean, running machine with no problems. I'm willing to transfer all the paper work to the respectable trader. But if you live outside of california we can work something out. Serious inquires only. you can contact me at [email protected]

Whats Up everyone? Well im seriously interested in trading my Lt500 for a banshee regardless of condition and year. The bike is an 89 Zilla With boatloads of internal motor work done to it (don't let the look fool you). Overall it cost me over 4,000+ dollars to make this bike shine in the dunes. It comes complete with a title and green sticker. It has motor port and polishing. Special ordered crankshaft assembly from a local race shop here in southern california. Motor has been rebuilt with all the goodies and specs. Flywheel mods The Power-valves on this beast has been professionally dyno-tuned along with the carb for an extremely hard hitting mid range and top acceleration and power. new transmission New handlebars, clutch, throttle controls, and headlight New bushings, bearing, seals, gaskets, oil seals, Its wicked fast and will defiantly blow away banshees,450r,yfz450 and pretty much all other 2 and 4 stroke bikes with the same mods done with ease. Too make a long story short everything on this bike is safe and sound and ready to go. Nothing is missing, falling off, rattling off, rigged up, bent or broken. The bike is complete. Only thing I didn't get around to doing is having the frame powder coated. But thats about all. If anyone has any questions please feel free to give me message anytime and I will get back to you asap.

Bottom end and top end rebuilt along with new gaskets all around. 9. New chain and sprocket kit. 10. New Pure sports front tires. 11. New stock rear tires. The list goes on and on there is too much for me to list I spent thousandths in this bike too make it look good compare to when I first bought it which wasn't in good shape. Well yes this is the first banshee I ever had and its a pain to own in more ways then 1. And I know someone on this forum knows what im talking about the clip settings.
-
What would happen if you place the clip on the 5th notch on the stock needle? Would that make the bike pull even harder or nothing will happen at all.
-
Man o Man jetting on this bike is . I'll move my clip down to the 4th clip from top. And about the mains I dunno if i read it here or on some other forum but correct me if im wrong I been told that 290-300 is with lid on and 300-340 with lid off. I currently have 25 pilots in my carbs and air screws set at 1.5 turns out from turned in. And everything else on my carbs are in place and nothing is loose. My bike has no power in mid-top power just seems to coast. I'll figure this problem out yet.
-
There is no mid-top power. Power seems to just coast, 1 and 2 gear are powerful but 3-6 gear just aren't. Any helpful hints

A fmf powerlid is an older version of the new powerlids, the one I have is made of aluminum with 10 holes on the lid. I have no snorkel on my airbox. And the temp where I live now in cali is during the day its around 60-70 degrees and at night its mid 40's to 50 degrees.

Whats going on guys? Im having jetting problems! I currently have fmf fatty pipes with spark arrestors, stock carbs, boyesen power reeds, an old school fmf powerlid, and a stock motor, and im at sea level for altitude. I have 290 mains,25 pilots, needle with clip in the 3rd spot from top, air screws set at 1.5 turns out. And basicaly my banshee runs like crap. So any advice on what my mains, pilots, clip settings, and air screws settings should be at please let me know. All advice is greatly appreciated.

How does procircuit stand up to the pack?

Told you guys that the LRD pipes perform better then the T-5 pipes. Look at the dyno -
selling the banshee? talke me out of this guys
bansheeman350 replied to sycoracer911's topic in General Banshee Discussion
How's it going? Im originally from Pa near Philly. What part are you from? Anyways I use to see all types of banshee's were I lived from stock to fully modded bikes. If your worried about trail riding and everything my best advice to you is send your motor to trinity racing and get there Pro MX/TT kit or send it to another builder to do port work for low and mid range. But overall the choice is up to you. Or if your worried about gas milage then the only solution to that is to ride less. -
If your running stock carbs try this setup Main Jet: 300 Pilot Jet: 32.5 Cascade-Innovations Needle kit Air Screws 1 1/2 turns out from fully seated And remove your airbox lid Let me know how the setup works Peace Out

Upgrading Carbs From Stock
bansheeman350 replied to bansheeman350's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I'll be mostly trail riding and once in awhile going to the dunes. And maybe in the future i may have some kind of porting done im not sure yet. But for now im just looking for a better set of carbs that would peform better from bottom to the top of the powerband and provide faster acceleration. -
Whats up people? Im in need of changing my carbs on my banshee from the stock carb setup. I currently have fmf fatty pipes and turbine 2 silencers on my shee. And the main question is what aftermarket carbs would be better? Places like trinity, duncan, and ct racing tell me to get the 28pwk for all stock except pipes and silencers. So what do you guys say would be a good aftermarket carb setup. Also the carb kits say "bolt on and forget about it" and will provide better performance without needing to re-jet at different altitudes. So any info would be greatly appreciated.
-
Whats up guys. Well I took everyones advice about the Toomey T-5 pipes and still seriously considering buying them. But just the other day I came upon Lrd website and came across the new non-adjustable RFX pipes for the shee and according to there website there pipes produce 49.8 hp @ 8200rpm sounds impressive to me. Anyway I decided to give them a call and verify if it was true and they said "yes, there pipes produce the most hp for the stock banshee engine and the more you do to the motor the more hp and acceleration you will have." So do any of you guys have or know people that do have the new or old LRD pipes on your shee? If so let me know how they sound, and perform.

Try this setup if using your stock carbs 300 main jet 32.5 pilot jet Needle at the 4th clip Turn you air screws out 1 1/2 turns from fully turned in Remove airbox lid for more airflow

Well im gonna take all your opinoins and save up and purchase the T-5 pipes. The first banshee i seen had t-5 pipes on it and i was like they sound sweet as hell. But as far as performance is considered im not quite sure. Everyone on here says they kick ass and some say they don't . If anybody knows how much horsepower do the t-5 put out it would be useful information. And how do they compare in drag races against other 2 strokes and four strokes. Peace Out
-
Whats Up People? I have a question. Is it just me or do FMF Fatty pipes produce more low-mid range power than top end? Im seriously thinking about getting the Toomey T-5 or T-6 pipe kit and maybe in the future i'll invest in a 420 big bore kit or port work. So what pipe would be good for the big bore kit or just portwork?
