rules and regs vary state by state. it's best to contact your local DMV.

The reason you typically need three wheels is because a 3-wheeler is considered a motorcycle, so it falls under their regs. If it's a 4-wheeler, typically it'll fall under the class of an auto, where seatbelts and all that auto crap would be necessary (and impossible) so that wouldn't work. Just the little bit of info I've heard.

yep, they are everywhere around here. I have really thought about gettin the shee street legal, but i would probably die or have a ticket 3 minutes after i got it on the road.

after it is 5 years old it would have to be emissions tested if you lived in a smog county.

:D It was a pain in the @ss to do here in the netherlands...

a true pain in the @ss.

but man... the pain was more then worth it.

:D

Registation says: 3 wheeler

specialties: has 4 wheels

class: Car

max power: 15KW

When the banshee came the registration said 31kw... there was no way i could get it road legal.

So i had the registration modified in germany for 15(kw) haha the testing details said 5 screws inward on the throttle limiter.. beat that!
