Help. Need some ideas

Recommended Posts

Got the right front wheel off w/no problem.

Got all but the last wheel nut off the left front and it ended up getting rounded off to where I can't get a grip.

With the spindle in the way, I really don't have anything that would be able to get it off.

Ideas?

thanks

if you have access to a welder thats the easiest way to do it.figured if you did you would have tried that by now, thats why i didnt mention it.

I'll have access to a welder and someone with the touch tomorrow. I don't weld enough to be sure I wouldn't mess up the threads.

thanks alot

I'm just trying to replace wheel bearings and I get this trouble. :yank:

A set of > THESE < are pretty handy to have around.

Then replace those soft crappy nuts with some graded hardware...

Saw some of those at Farm King 3 miles from my house and didn't want to drop $30 for them. I GOT IT OFF THOUGH!!!!:clap::clap::clap::dance::dance:

Used an old hand jack handle with the notched end and a pipe wrench the welder said we'll use a hot tack since you don't want to weld on it for very long w/out messing up the threads.

Thought I'd share a pic of the victory. Thanks again guys....
