What octane?

I was wondering what fuel should i run in my banshee with 18cc domes,bored .040 over with some porting. At 5500 feet elevation? Thanks

std with pipes the manufacturer indicates on the fuel tank "unleaded premium", but obviously the work done on your shee might require something else. Off hand would think the above would definitely be a safe bet...IMO

93 atleast might even add some octane boost.

I would run a 50/50 mix of premium and 110 or 112 race fuel. That will help prevent pinging and detonation. IMO

whats wrong with octane boost????? nothing. Its not as good as running a mix of race gas and pump, but its cheaper.

You might be fine with 93 octane. I would check the compression to be sure. If it's over 160, mix some race gas or av-gas. At 20% to 50% race or av-gas isn't too expensive.

You should be fine with 93 octane, look at his elevation.

octane boost is worthless, well not quite, but close. they are advertised to show large gains in the AKI rating. but in reality your MON only gows up about a tenth of what is advertised.
