RNBRAD Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 I'm the same way...if I know they can afford to fix it and are willing to pay, then they can ride it. If they can't afford it, then they don't ride it. 386282 Word, of course it's a good idea in some cases to remind them how much we have into our machines. They may have to second mortgage their homes. Quote
Ducman Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 I've let only a couple other freinds that have quads/bikes. Its funny though, guys with mainly 4 stroke experience really have no idea of what to expect and usually cant shift, or otherwise ride it worth a shit. When there trying to accelerate its like Waaaaa.... pause Waaaaa.... pause Waaaaaa... pause Waaaaaa. Quote

That drives me crazy. Quote

That drives me crazy. 386357 Down at Hatfield McCoy: They DO have a bunch of bottom end, I was lugging mine in 4th, 5th and 6th while everyone with their 4strokes were in 2nd and 3rd on the throttle the whole time. Most of the time I wouldnt go past 1/3 throttle. Only time I would really get on it is when I'd lolly gag for a while, hit third and wind through a couple gears and catch right back up. It's a hell of a lot more fun to come ripping into a corner, grabbing a handful of brakes, see that noone is coming the other way and drop the clutch out of the corner up to the next corner and repeat. They were on their 4strokes having to power through corners to keep the power on. I do know what your saying though about someone that rides 4stroke not knowing how or what to expect from a 2stroke Quote
04TeamYamahaShee Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Depends on who it is. I let my old man ride it once (but he doesn't want to anymore, he's scared of it ) The only other person that rides it besides me is my best buddy, who is as good of a rider as I am. Otherwise, NO. Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Only people I know are experienced and are respectful enough to pay anything that they did that was their fault...thats only like 3 people Quote
sandman121383 Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 i let my dad take mine for a ride once after he saw me wheelin thru a field with it and he sat on it dropped it into 1st and dumped it full throttle thikin its got no power. the bike didn't even moved a foot. the front end came up n it flipped right over. his cigar went flyin. 1st thing he said was holy shit after he picked up his cigar, 2nd thing he said was help me up and the 3rd thing he said was i didn't think that thing was gonna have any power. wish i had it on video. it went straight up onto the grab bar and fell over to the right. white trash Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 Ill let some of my close riding buddies ride it, and they let me ride theirs. Also a select few of my good friends get a shot at it once in a while. But they all know you break it you buy it. One of my friends knows from experience. I love when they get off and say "Damn i didnt think it would be that fast!" Quote
bansheeryder_69 Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 Well yesterday i let my dad take my banshee with my little bro. Fucker seized on him so I'm probably getting a 4mm. Sometimes its nice to let other people ride your shit. Quote
Holyman Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 Other guy... Hey, can I take your quad for a ride? Me... ( I look down at the ground for a second as I slowly wag my head side to side and roll my eyes. Then look him straight in the eye with the look of complete disgust on my face)... Dude there is just no way that's ever gonna happen. If he doesn't reply with an immediate reply of "Hey no problem" or "Hey I understand" then I will be forced to show him how well Bandits grip on loose gravel all over him. The lastime I let someone ride my banshee it ost my insurance co over 5grand. Quote
