rzcolobanshee Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 No need to get rid of them, just get a throttle cable for a thumb throttle instead Couplle of months ago i put a twist throttle on the sheee and u had to drill holes in the carbs for the idleing...well it turns out i hated the twist throttle for the racing i do..so i wanna go back to the thumb throttle..how would i go about filling them holes that were drilled??? 386206[/snapback] Quote
watkins Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Like 94yambanshee said. The idle screws really have nothing to do with the twist throttle, they have to do with the TORS removal. You will want to keep TORS off. Just buy the correct throttle cable and you will be good to go. I use Vitos, but its up to you. Heres the link to Vitos, make sure you look at the correct cable for the correct carb size. Vitos Quote

NFDuke Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 I tell ya... I thought the same thing when I put my Twist on.. I took it off, and found that I got less arm pump when racing with the twist... Just a matter of getting use to it. I wasn't long putting it back on. DUKE Quote
